Colorado Ski Area Tour 7 day 10 day

This tour begins and ends on Denver and includes flying at several of Colorado's world famous ski areas.

Both in summer and winter, ski resorts offer pilots the opportunity to easily get to launches which are high above treeline, with Colorado Rockies views.

Colorado is probably best known for its famous ski resorts. Paraglider pilots utilize the access provided by ski resorts on both sides of the continental divide. Most of these sites have established paragliding clubs which require membership fees, and added costs for chairlift and club provided transportation. Getting to meet and fly with locals at their sites is a fun part of paragliding, and is a part of any ski area centered tour.

COLORADO SKI AREAS TOUR:   7 DAY

Day 1:   Arrive Denver.   Fly Lookout Mountain, Golden Colorado.

Day 2:   Copper Mountain Ski Area.

Day 3:   Vail Ski Area.

Day 4:   Aspen Ski Area.

Day 5:   Telluride Ski Area.

Day 6:   Telluride Ski Area.

Day 7:   Return to Denver

*An additional 100.00 cost is possible for local club fees and either club trucks or lift tickets to launch. .   This will only be charged if we fly those sites with added costs.

COLORADO SKI AREAS TOUR:   10 DAY

The same locations as seven day tour, but with a reasonable amount of time to complete the entire loop.

This tour is based on driving 1200 to 1680 miles during the tour, just to give an idea of the distances involved in visiting these sites.
