This tour loops through the desert Southwest, visiting sites that tend to be pretty far from each other.
The climate here tends to be very dry, with lots of flying days likely. 
This tour is based on driving 1400 to 1960 miles during the tour, just to give an idea of the distances involved in visiting these sites.
NORTHERN DESERT TOUR: 7 DAY
Day 1: Arrive Albuquerque. Fly Ribera or Sandias.
Day 2: Flagstaff.
Day 3: Tucson.
Day 4: Sierra Vista.
Day 5: Alamogordo.
Day 6: Alamogordo.
Day 7: Albuquerque.
NORTHERN DESERT TOUR: 10 DAY
The same locations as seven day tour, but with a reasonable amount of time to complete the entire loop. (Which is not realistic in 7 days).
NORTHERN DESERT TOUR: 14 DAY
This is really the right amount of time to complete such an ambitious tour, and in order to get some quality air time at these many world class sites.
